JForce PM is COMING SOON!
(Have we already mentioned that? Can you tell we are excited?)

When upgrading a system, design aspects are almost always on the list of things to include. You want functionality to change deep within the code, to be better and run smoother; but nothing shouts "UPGRADE" to a front-end user like a polished, new look. Here are some items that have been updated in JForce PM. If you have any questions about the sytem or want to learn more, please email the JForce Team at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

JForce PM introduces an entirely new way of managing projects in Joomla! Below are some of the design features we've incorporated in this new component.

  • Top Menu. JForce PM has done away with the module used for navigation within JForce and replaced it with a user-friendly top menu making it easier to get where you're going.
  • CSS3. JForce PM utilizes the cutting edge in web styling and makes use of rounded corners, and gradients for a lightweight, CSS3 compliant layout. Using dynamic settings you can now update these elements on-the-fly through your admin interface
  • Beautiful Modals. Modals have been designed to provide a much more appealing layout and design.
  • Tooltips. We've added inline tool tips whenever possible to facilitate a better user experience and help with understanding the new features
  • Access Permissions. JForce PM has a beautiful interface for managing access roles and makes use of toggles, sliders, and other flashy elements that make it a breeze to setup.
  • Dashboard. Finally, a dashboard that you can use. The new dashboard quickly shows you the week ahead and events you have scheduled. Next, the dashboard shows unread messages within the system. Lastly, the Dashboard shows items that YOU think are important (starred) throughout the system.

Notes from the Development Team:

We love being able to make a great looking site on CSS3 compatible browsers without having to use any images for rounded corners and gradients. Since many JForce users use Internet Explorer, we are trying out the gradient filters available for IE. Unfortunately, the gradient filters in IE make any text inside the element look broken/jagged.

Please let us know your thoughts on the styling! If you are an IE user, we would love to know if you prefer the gradient filter, no gradients, or background images. Send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

We highly recommend using Firefox for the best user experience! Webkit browsers (Safari and Chrome) support CSS3, but they tend to be buggy and display broken html/javascript on the page which breaks other things.
